– Aug 3, 2022 –– In March 2017, Polk County Government TV in Central Florida installed two Broadcast Pix Mica™ 1000 integrated production switchers. The Mica systems were installed by Encore Broadcast Solutions for the extensive coverage of PGTV’s government meetings and studio productions. Stephen Barnes, a PGTV producer, said the upgrades to both control rooms were essential, as the staff was spending too much time and money trying to find and replace parts to keep its older systems operational.
