Tyngsboro, Mass. – January 2025 – Broadcast Pix™ announces the release of Version 10.3, the latest software update for its live production systems. This release introduces new capabilities for Hybrid and Roadie systems, including 4-channel ISO recording, along with workflow and usability enhancements available across all Broadcast Pix models. Version 10.3 is now shipping with all new systems and is available as a free download for customers with an active support contract.
Designed to support productions of all sizes, Version 10.3 streamlines live workflows, expands creative flexibility, and improves ease of use for both experienced operators and volunteer production teams.
Key Updates in Version 10.3
New 4-Channel ISO Recording (Hybrid & Roadie systems only)
Version 10.3 adds support for four independent ISO recordings on Broadcast Pix Hybrid and Roadie systems, allowing users to capture clean, isolated video and audio from up to four camera inputs simultaneously.
Why It Matters:
- Provides greater flexibility for post-production editing
- Enables angle switching and timing adjustments after the event
- Offers valuable backup material if a camera operator misses a shot
- Creates additional content opportunities for clips, highlights, replays, and repurposed media
This enhancement makes Broadcast Pix systems even more valuable for houses of worship, government meetings, live events, sports, education, podcasts, interviews, and other multi-camera workflows.
Enhanced Keyer Controls in the Commander UI (Available on all Broadcast Pix systems)
Commander now includes more powerful and intuitive tools for managing Key Layers directly from the browser-based interface.
New enhancements include:
- Streamlined drop-down menus for quick keyer source selection
- One-click keyer assignment for fast configuration and control
- Full-motion video monitoring of up to six Key Layers within Commander
- Improved usability designed for both technical directors and volunteer operators
These updates deliver greater precision, improved visual feedback, and a smoother, more efficient live production experience.
Additional Improvements
Version 10.3 also includes stability and performance enhancements, along with user-requested bug fixes, ensuring smoother operation across all Broadcast Pix production systems.
